Ricardo works as a cloud evangelist, cultivating key customers, partnership relationships and keynote speaking events. His experience comes from over a decade in the IT industry with public sector customers, especially in the hardware and software business, so that he understands exactly what the challenges and boundaries of actual smart cities and smart countries look like. Through the use of the cloud and the associated synergies, e.g. AI/ML, Ricardo helps to identify the smart workloads that can be life-changing if implemented in the right spaces. There are multiple zones in cities or in urban development where AI can be used to improve the performance and efficiency of the system. Furthermore Ricardo also has the ownership of the dedicated Transportation Solutions of Google Cloud Platform in EMEA.
